Installation: Prior to installation of solid wood on top of concrete, the concrete is cleaned and scraped to make sure it's level. Then we seal the concrete. 24 hours are required for sealant to dry.  Mastic is applied, then 5/8 or 3/8 CDX plywood is glued and nailed down to create moisture barrier so that buckling is prevented.
Sand and Finish: Wood is sanded and stained (per client's choice of color) then finished with 3 coats of water-based polyurethane.
